The cherry on top!
Sitting on the top of the Ramsukh House - a commercial office building is the beautifully landscaped restaurant - World of Veg. This project is a small extension of the restaurant that tries to merge with the old and at the same time it also brings a new dynamic to the rooftop. Visible from the Shivajinagar signal and the Sancheti bridge, the project takes advantage of the landmark location and height.
The design aims to converge geometry intepreting the confluence of multiple cuisines coming together to create a World of Vegetarian cuisines!
Pure integration of Architecture and Structure is conceptualised to create a sleek and elegant canopy. The number of layers of build up are reduced to bare minimum by combining architectural, interior, lighting and structural design disciplines and working with all in parallel.
Lighting is designed in a way that the lighting elements not only throw indirect light highlighting the structure but also elevate the exposed structure and enhance it three dimensionally.
